SAHM w/ Kiddie Friends?

Is being a SAHM for me?

Should I start a mini-daycare, as I feel strongly that having other kids around for my kiddos to interact w/ is IMPORTANT....

Hmmmm.....life is throwing a wierd curve ball at me, I came up with this idea all on my own and can't seem to drop it.

Is this the Lord telling me to slow down, don't go so fast, enjoy life with my kids? Speaking of Him. I have been really trying to tune into what His plans for ME are...it's a funny thing, if you slow down for long enough & ask Him what he expects out of you, you will know when He is telling you something. Thank you Lord for being so good to me.

LOL I love these pics, no no no, he is not really feeding himself, he prefers *or eats much better* if he is holding his own spoon....and gagging himself! LOL!

PS: Dabbling w/ a new camera lens, you like? I LOVE, but can't always figure out the light/apperature/shutter speeds/ISO's, blah. I have some learning to do! Lucky for my kids, I plan to take LOTS O' PICS!

A Few Things To Remember

Life is fast. Days fly by. I can't even keep track of our crazy family, let alone what day it is. This blog was purposed to help remember all the wonderful things about my baby Olivia...and now that Cooper is here we have less time.

With that said....Olivia is almost 3. She is so silly. Says the most insane things, and makes me laugh A LOT.

Cooper is getting so big. Loves to eat his rice cereal, drink bottles & play w/ his baby toys. They grow SO FAST.

Cooper is rolling over! He rolled about 2 weeks ago. He can't yet get from belly to back, but is an old pro at back to belly and I have been finding him sleeping on his tummy...little stinker.

We started sticker sleep training 10 days ago for Olivia....OH-MY-GAWD GENIOUS IDEA. No more bedtime battles. Quiet loving bedtime transition, a little Mommy alone time before bed. Ahhh...the world all comes together somedays.

100 Car Pile Up

So you would think, after about the first 10 cars officials would call it quits and just shut the ole' interstate down...but no. They think up to 100 cars are being affected right now, in FREEZING temps, stuck on the interstate for HOURS. All I can think of is Mommas like me, possibly toting 2 babes in the back seat, on the way home, maybe no diaper bag - because who brings that to work & back - stuck on the interstate. And if they are really like me...an 1/8 of a tank of gas. Ha!

But seriously folks, shut down the interstate, hell the mall is closed. The whole town may as well be too.

Enjoy for your laughter. Living in the flat, frigid landscape of Fargo, is not always as glamorous as you may think.

He was in the 40% when he was born, he is now in 75% for height & weight. Porky piggie :)

Deal with the Devil...errr my Husband

So YEARS ago, I made a deal with my husband. It sounded like this.

"Honey, I need a new house, if we get a new house we can talk about getting you a hunting dog, AS LONG AS the house has a fenced in yard & kennel for the dog OUTSIDE."

So, we moved into our dream house on May 14th, 2010.

By Mid-June we had a swing set for the babies.

By Mid-July we had a fence.

I thought this was all great! Life was good.

By Late-July we had a dog kennel. Whoa we move fast, right?

By Late-August we HAVE A DOG. Holy s*it! Oh & did I mention that by Late-September we will have a new baby?

To have to explain why I have a constant headache and am getting cold sores would be pitiful. I think we all know where they are coming from.

So this 'Dog' is very cute. She is a puppy. Everyone loves a puppy! Her name is Kimber & she is 7 weeks old. During all this I am also in FULL BLOWN pre-baby nesting. FULL BLOWN. And there are dog toys, dog kennels/crates, dogs, dog hair (which I also requested a new steam vac & Dyson Pet Vac to take care - and my husband happily obliged).

Other than the stress of the timing of all this...she has been a great little pup. And isn't she cute?!
