We decided to 'just see' if we could sell our house this spring before I get WAY too pregnant to do anything. And in the spring so we don't waste the gorgeous summer months moving & house hunting! Corey said "If you get it started, and make the arrangements, we can see where it goes". Don't dare a woman! It is a funny joke around the house these days!

*April 24th: Head to cities for friends Bachelorette Party

*May 1st: Dad's 50th Birthday Bash, tons of family in town!
*Try to PACK!
*May 7th: Tentative move out weekend date!
*May 14th: Closing Date of both house - MOVE INTO NEW HOUSE, Clean new house! Unpack...
Sounds fun doesn't it? WHOA BABY. Things are about to get crazy around here! PLEASE WISH ME LUCK! I am questioning how many breakdowns from sleep deprivation and/or pregnancy hormones I am going to have before May 14th!

Last Night I Had A Dream

As with many nights through this pregnancy I have been having INSANE DREAMS!

Many, and by many I mean MOST of them are strange variations of Corey & I meeting for our first time. Most involve us meeting at ‘my dream college campus’ we attended, or at a ‘college party’. Sometimes he does not look like ‘him’ but it is always ‘him’. Sometimes he has dark hair or is short & chubby, but his name is always Corey and I always fall head over heels in love with him the second we meet! Last night he was taller, I was shorter but we looked the same. Weird how dreams work!

Last night I met my husband for the first time again. We met at a bar, and boy was he ‘dreamy’ (pun intended!). We spent the night flirting, smooching in the corner, and very gaga for each other all night. One thing leads to another, and we ended up back at his place (Note: nothing more happened in my ‘dream’ after this point)

Fast Forward 3 months…I had given this ‘dude’ my number and never heard from him after. In the mean time I find out I am pregnant. Shock – gasp – drama! And am not sure how to confront ‘the Dad’. I do see him in the library or on campus from time to time, and we say quick hellos, I throw out the ‘call me soons’ and we are on our way again.

The night most of this dream takes place is at some sort of outdoor festival I was at w/ some of my best girls! It was very spring breakish…and we are all dressed to kill, having a ball (me sober of course w/ baby in tow) and to my utter surprise there he is. At the same bar, talking to my cousin, and….asking for ME! J So he finds me. We sit & chat. He asks me on a date! Eeee! We move to a quiet corner on the patio to talk, we sit & chat forever and he notices how nervous I am. I finally can’t take the pressure & tell him about the pregnancy. And he was in SHOCK (of course). So much so in fact he gets up, and leaves! Jerk. And I just sit there & recount what would I do in his shoes and am crushed because I like him so much. And as I decided pregnant girls do not need to be clubbing – he returns with one pink flower & one blue flower. And lifts me up and gives me a ‘dreamy’ hug & kiss and tells me this will all work out. We sit & smooch & talk & cuddle for the rest of the evening and then I WOKE UP!What a weird dream! But what a cool dream!

I love meeting Corey over & over & over in such weird insane circumstances. I woke up missing my husband, and knowing we have the craziest week ahead of us I will just keep on dreaming of the carefree, pre-baby days until we can find some quiet time to take for each other!

Blessed with 13 Weeks!

Today marks 13 weeks!

13 weeks of what? A healthy, sustained pregnancy!

Healthy for the baby, that is :) I however am still not feeling so healthy. BUT I will take beating if the baby continues to grow, be healthy, and stir alittle havok on our lives!

We would like to take a minute to count our blessings, and thank the Lord for his healing hand and support through all of this. Nothing is possible without HIS love & tender thoughts.

Olivia is 2!

Olivia Turned 2 on March 21st, 2010! She's a big girl now!

We had a fun filled pool party with some of our favorite friends & family! Even though the Birthday Girl didn't appreciate the pool until after all her guests left, she sure had fun splashing in the pool with her Daddy!


Sporting the birthday garp our fav AZ Cousins sent to us! A Latisha Made crown & boa! So adorable! & Olivia LOVED THEM! PS: Latisha we got LOTS of rave reviews on this, you should go into the 'decorate the birthday girl' biz!


The super awesome 2-Tier Elmo cake we made for the party! Yes WE made it! We rock!

After blowing out her candles she went in for a kiss...er a taste! Mmmm...nummy!

Poopy in the Potty!

For bragging purposes (I am sure Olivia will want to strangle me for posting this on the blog when she is older....)

She did it! All on her own last night! Woo! Way to go baby!

Potty Training For Dummies 101

So we are potty training!

Olivia has been doing superb at daycare with her potty training. She goes about 5 times a day at Barb’s and comes home to me ‘pottied out’.

I don’t know about you other Mom’s but I am so against ‘Pull Ups’ – for no particular reason, I just have it in my mind that they are the potty training devil – do I think they serve a purpose, hell ya – will we be using them for car rides & outings at the mall, for sure – but for all intensive purposes we will be using cloth & vinyl! No offense to those that love ‘em. But in my opinion Pull Ups make it far too comfortable to be called a potty training ‘aid’. She’s pees & poops and could care less, just like a diaper. They nicely wick away the water, warms up (like a diaper) & away she goes! So we (we as in ME) decided to try out the ‘training undies’ this weekend.

(Side Note: Of course EVERY SINGLE STORE is sold out of the vinyl covers so I ordered some online today! Well I will be ordering some online today…after I read the millions of reviews out there on the many vinyl potty training pants they have available now. I think I have my mind set on the ‘Potty Patty’ brand. They are similar to the Gerber brand, but have better reviews & better ‘life expectancy’. There are so many cool ‘all in one’ models similar to a cloth diaper that look so appealing, yet have crappy reviews of leakage (ew!) and poor life expectancy through washings….so we are going old school, just like my Momma trained me, in padded undies & vinyl covers! )

Anyway….we tried out the training undies this weekend….and we had 2 accidents which is bound to happen. Once in her bedroom…and once when I ‘forgot’ that she only had them on and we were rushing out of the house to head to lunch at the Mall…needless to say a puddle on booth seat and $30.00 later of new clothing we were set to shop! Sigh.

I guess Olivia & I are potty training together! Soon we are going to be a great team!
